Yieldly is a dividend tracking app that helps you monitor and analyze dividend-paying stocks. You can start using the app immediately - no sign-in required! Here's how to get started:
No! You can use Yieldly without signing in. You can browse stocks, view dividend information, search for tickers, and explore by categories and indexes all without an account. Signing in is optional and enables additional features like:
If you choose to sign in, Yieldly uses email-based OTP (One-Time Password) authentication for security. Simply enter your email address, tap "Send OTP", check your email for the 6-digit code, and enter it in the app. No password required!
First, check your spam/junk folder. OTP codes are sent immediately. If you still don't see it after a few minutes, try tapping "Resend OTP" in the app. Make sure you're using a valid email address.
Navigate to any stock's detail page, tap the menu (three dots) in the top right, and select "Add to Watchlist". You can also add stocks directly from the Watchlist tab by tapping "Add Ticker".
Yes! Sign in to access the Portfolio tab. You can add your stock holdings with the number of shares you own. The app will help you track your dividend income and calculate your annual dividend earnings. Portfolio tracking requires signing in to save your data.

Yieldly requires an internet connection to fetch the latest stock data and dividend information. However, you can view previously loaded data when offline.

Yieldly calculates dividend yield using the trailing 12-month method. This means we sum all dividend payments over the past 12 months and divide by the current stock price. The yield is displayed as a percentage, showing you the annual return you would receive from dividends if you owned the stock at the current price.
Stock prices and dividend data are updated daily after market close. Dividend announcements and payment dates are updated as they become available. Yield calculations are refreshed with each price update to ensure accuracy.
Yieldly uses Polygon.io as our primary data source for stock prices, dividend information, and company data. This ensures accurate, reliable, and up-to-date information for all stocks in our database.

Dividend alerts are a Pro feature that notifies you when stocks in your watchlist or portfolio have upcoming dividend payments. You can enable alerts in Settings → Dividend Alerts. You'll receive notifications for ex-dividend dates, payment dates, and dividend announcements.
Navigate to the Discover tab to browse stocks by industry categories such as REITs, Utilities, Energy, Financials, Healthcare, and more. Each category shows the average yield and number of stocks available. Tap any category to see the top dividend-paying stocks in that industry.
On the home screen, you'll see filter chips for different stock market indexes (like S&P 500, NASDAQ 100). Tap any index to see the top dividend-yielding stocks in that index. You can also browse indexes from the Discover tab under "Popular Indexes".
To remove a stock from your watchlist, go to the Watchlist tab, swipe left on the stock, and tap "Remove". For portfolio holdings, go to the Portfolio tab, tap on a holding, and select "Remove" from the options. You can also long-press on items for quick removal options.
Go to the Portfolio tab and tap on any holding. You can edit the number of shares you own. Changes are saved automatically and will update your dividend income calculations.
Some stocks may not have dividend data if they don't pay dividends, have recently stopped paying dividends, or if dividend information hasn't been announced yet. Growth stocks and certain sectors typically don't pay dividends. If you believe a dividend-paying stock is missing data, please contact support.
You can delete your account at any time by following these steps:
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data including portfolios, watchlists, and preferences will be permanently removed. If you have an active Pro subscription, make sure to cancel it separately through your app store subscription settings before deleting your account.

Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, check if there's an app update available in the App Store.
Ensure you're entering a valid email address. Check your email inbox (and spam folder) for the OTP code. The code expires after a few minutes, so request a new one if needed. If problems continue, contact support.
Make sure you're signed in with the same email address on all devices. Data syncs automatically when you're connected to the internet. Try signing out and signing back in if sync issues persist.
