Privacy Policy - PlayFair
Last Updated: September 2026
PlayFair is operated by Googly, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy applies to the PlayFair mobile application for youth soccer coaches.
đź”’ On-Device & Zero Tracking Guarantee
PlayFair is engineered as a local-first sideline tool. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or monetize any personal data or player information. All rosters, match minutes, and substitution histories are saved exclusively on your physical device.
Googly, LLC operates multiple applications. This Privacy Policy applies specifically to PlayFair. Other Googly apps may have separate privacy policies.
Information Processed and Storage
PlayFair is designed for zero overhead and complete privacy on the sideline:
- Roster Information: Player names, jersey numbers, and preferred field positions you enter are saved only within your device's isolated local app storage.
- Match Statistics: Playing time, substitution logs, rotation schedules, and balance percentages are calculated and stored locally on your device.
- No User Account: You do not need to register, provide an email address, or create a password to use PlayFair.
We operate no cloud servers or external databases for collecting your roster or match records.
Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Because PlayFair helps manage youth soccer teams with athletes under age 13 (or under 16 in the EU), children's privacy is protected by default:
- PlayFair does not collect or request personal information from children.
- The application is designed for use by adult coaches, team managers, and parents.
- No child photos, location data, or communications are gathered or transmitted.
Advertising & Analytics
- No Ads: PlayFair contains no third-party advertisements.
- No Data Sharing: We never sell, rent, or trade your data to third-party data brokers or marketing services.
- No Tracking: We do not track you across other applications or websites.
The Parent Match Summary Feature
PlayFair includes a "Copy to Parents" button that formats match minutes and fairness balance into a friendly summary copied directly to your device clipboard. You choose whether to share this text in team messaging apps (e.g. TeamSnap, WhatsApp). No data passes through Googly, LLC servers.
Device Permissions & Data Deletion
PlayFair requires no invasive device permissions (no camera, microphone, GPS, or contact book access). You maintain full control over your data: deleting players or uninstalling the app permanently erases all locally saved records.
