TutorTrail is operated by Googly, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy applies to the TutorTrail mobile application.

TutorTrail uses email-based One-Time Password (OTP) sign-in. You may also use the app as a guest and later link an email to create a permanent account. We store only the information needed to provide the service: your account identity (email after sign-in or account creation), profile name, and the data you create (students, lessons, skills, progress entries, homework, and session notes).

Googly, LLC operates multiple applications. This Privacy Policy applies only to TutorTrail. Other Googly apps may have separate privacy policies.

Information We Collect

We collect and store:

Account information — Email address (for sign-in) and the name you set in your profile.
Data you create — Students (names, contact info, notes), lessons (schedule, status), skills, progress entries (e.g. level before/after per skill), homework assignments, and session notes. This data is stored in our secure database and is associated only with your account.

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or selling to third parties.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

Authenticate you (OTP sign-in or guest account linking)
Store and sync your tutoring data (students, lessons, progress, homework, notes) across your devices
Provide support when you contact us

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices. Authentication and data storage are handled via Supabase, with access restricted to your account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we strive to protect your data and do not share it with third parties for their use.

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for authentication (email OTP) and database storage. Supabase processes your email and account data only to provide these services. We do not share your data with other third parties for marketing or analytics.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account). Account deletion permanently removes your account and all associated data (students, lessons, skills, progress, homework, session notes) and cannot be undone.
