Terms of Service - TutorTrail

TutorTrail is operated by Googly, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TutorTrail mobile application, including sign-in by email OTP and optional guest use.

Googly, LLC operates multiple applications. These Terms apply only to TutorTrail. Other Googly apps may have separate terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TutorTrail, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

TutorTrail provides tools for tutors to manage students, schedule and complete lessons, track skills and progress, assign homework, and keep session notes. The app uses email-based one-time password (OTP) sign-in. You may also use the app as a guest and later link an email to create a permanent account. We store your data to provide the service and sync it across your devices.

Eligibility & Account

You must provide a valid email address to sign in or to create an account from a guest session.
You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and for any activity under your account.
Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.

Permitted Use

Use TutorTrail only for lawful purposes and in line with its intended use.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or its authentication.
Do not use the service to store or transmit illegal or harmful content.

Your Data

You retain ownership of the data you create (students, lessons, skills, progress, homework, notes). We process and store it to provide the service. Our use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You may delete your account and data at any time from within the app.

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. Supabase processes your email and account data only to deliver these services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their marketing.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TutorTrail is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. Use the app at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Googly, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of TutorTrail.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TutorTrail after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
